Reviews
enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger via DC Vegetarian it was tasty and left me full. I will definitely go back and try next time I'm in PDX.
Their food is so good. I’ve never had a vegan chocolate chip cookie as good as theirs.
I want to try all of the sandwiches but the egg breakfast sandwich is so tasty that I haven’t been able to try any others yet.
Pasta salad is great too.
The employees are so kind and I love how much DC Veg supports their community.
I ordered Cajun Chicken Po Boy submarine sandwich and kale salad. Both are very yummy. This sub has perfect flavoring and spiciness, enough to make me sniffle a little but not so spicy to make me cry lol. Of course, this varied by individuals. Great service and I enjoy the quiet (help-yourself) dining atmosphere.
Beyond tasty sandwiches! We’ve been here a few times and will absolutely be back! This last time we had the sausage breakfast sandwich (great but needed a little sriracha Mayo or mustard, a tad dry) and the Cajun Po boy (YUM, add banana peppers, life changing). Highly recommend! Potato salad is a little flat and/or acidic, pump that stuff up with more mustard or something, it would be bomb!
Great food! Wonderful staff! My dad enjoyed the classic burger which was delicious. I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and the bagel sandwiches! My husband got a Philly Cheesteak which was brimming with seitan! 🥳
Oh my gosh...Portland has some absolutely amazing vegan/vegetarian spots...but I literally just ate the absolutely best gluten-free vegan sandwich I've had since I moved out to the area (4 years ago) at DC Vegetarian.
I'm legit sad I ate it all and I have no more (like THAT level of flavor)!
Friendly and quick customer service to boot!
I will surely be visiting here when I make it to this part of town!
Do yourself a favor and check them out!
The BEST vegan sandwiches I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend ⭐️
The best BLT anywhere. And it’s a vegetarian BLT! Also, their cookies are da-bomb, and they’ve got a great selection of drinks. And the staff is always friendly. Worth a drive to enjoy the food.
